LOW VACUUM

The low vacuum mode is very useful for looking at non-conductive samples that are not really wet.  It allows us to look at uncoated samples without producing charging artifacts, but without coating the sample.  This is very useful for samples such as some alloys, rocks and minerals, glass, insects or other biological samples, polymers and many other types of samples.
