The University of Windsor’s Nutrient Analysis Laboratory is a multi-user, central facility located in GLIER. Water samples collected from aquatic bodies including, lakes, rivers, natural ponds, stormwater ponds, and the marine environment can be analyzed for the following parameters:  Alkalinity; Ammonia as N; Chloride; Chlorophyll a; Coliform bacteria (Escherichia coli); Nitrate; pH; Sulphate; Total Suspended Solids; and Total Phosphorus.  As well, E. coli levels are determined for Municipal and Industrial clients.
